Happy New Year 2015! ^^

Mr and I are counting down to the New Year here in the UK and we've been chatting about what our Resolutions will be! With things that have happened recently we've become more aware than ever that life is far too short and that we should make the best of every minute we have! So, based on that, here are our New Year's Resolutions!

My Resolutions:

~ to wear at least one Kawaii accessory to work every day!
~ to organise every accessory I own!
~ to make our home even more Kawaii!
~ to work harder on making my blog as Kawaii as it can be!
~ to wake up to J-pop every morning to promote a Kawaii mood all day!
~ to dedicate one whole day a week to Kawaii hobbies!
~ to play more Pokémon!

Mr's Resolutions:

~ to play every game we own at least once!
~ to assemble every model kit I own!
~ to dedicate one whole day a week to geeky hobbies!
~ to be the very best, like no one ever was!

So that's our lot! What do you think? Achieveable? Definitely!!! Have you set yourself any New Year's Resolutions? I'd love to hear what they are!

I'm off to jump around to Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, drink Pepsi and ring in 2015!

Seller Review - Head Case Designs

I try to make everything I can as Kawaii as I can and this includes my tablet! Having purchased one quite recently I have been looking for super Kawaii cases and covers and came across Head Case Designs! They are an online shop that sell cases for phones, tablets and MP3 players and they sell a huge, no, HUGE amount of super Kawaii designs! I have picked up two so far and will definitely be going back for more! Here is what I have so far:

The one on the right was my first case and the one I am using at the moment. It is part of the Kawaii Cakes and Shakes range on the site, here's a close up:

As you can see from the pic, it's covered in Super Kawaii deserts all with super cute faces! With deserts being so popular in designs and accessories in Japan I just had to get this one, but they do have other designs in this range!

The second case I purchased was from the Kawaii Series 2 range and features a strawberry cupcake baker and her cupcake!

This is super Kawaii! Being a big fan of baking cupcakes I just had to get it!

Both cases are hard shell cases and are very well made featuring very Kawaii designs. Head Case  Designs make cases and covers for a large range of phones and tablets, including older models so if you have an older model device and struggle to find new Kawaii cases you will definitely want to check these out! They literally have 100's of designs with the most Kawaii appearing in their Playful section on the site. There's plenty more cases that I have my eye on including their Chibi Japanese Street Fashion Range which features this Decora case!

And I also quite like the look of their Kawaii Galaxy range that features designs like this:

Anyway, hope this helps you in finding some Kawaii accessories to help keep Kawaii!

Catch you later Kawaiisters!!^^

6%DokiDoki Christmas Haul ^^

Back in April I blogged about the most Kawaii shop of them all! 6%DokiDoki! This has to be my most favourite shop on the planet, I always keep an eye out for new items and always have a wish list on the go! Mr certainly made mine a Kawaii Christmas when he presented me with a haul of items from 6%DokiDoki! Here is what I got!

I was presented with a rectangle shaped present and when I opened it up I found this super Kawaii vanity pouch ^^ this is part of the Colourful Rebellion 20th Anniversary range that they released this year to celebrate the 20 years 6%DokiDoki have been in existence ^^ it's a beautifully made pouch that is soft satin on the outside decorated with the famous Colourful Rebellion pattern!

The inside is pink and has compartments for everything you would need on the go!

Now I was over the moon to get this as it was on my wishlist, but it wasn't all I got! Mr told me to open the pouch, and when I did I found all these goodies!

I'll show you one by one what each item is! First I'll show you these super Kawaii rings:

These two are jewelled heart rings in Aqua and Cherry Pink! Two of my favourite colours! They are quite large rings so are awesome statement pieces to Kawaii up any outfit!

They have a silver coloured metal band and are adjustable so will fit most people.

The next item is this super Kawaii earring!

This is a DOcKIng/DokiDoki earring! This is an awesomely designed piece with four available holes you can choose how it looks in your ear. The words DokiDoki appear to be springing forward from your ear! Super Kawaii! ^^

The next item I'll show you is the hair bow! In case you haven't guessed already from reading my blog - I LOVE HAIR BOWS! I mean who doesn't?! So I was super happy that Mr got me the Colourful Rebellion Anniversary hair bow!

Isn't it beautiful! It's the same soft satin material as the vanity pouch and is also decorated with the anniversary pattern! ^^ I love it so much!!! This is a must for any Decora fan! Well pretty much everything they sell is a must for Decora fans! The bow also comes with a brooch clasp on the back so you can wear it to accessorise in several different ways!

The last surprise present I got was this limited edition 6%DokiDoki Kubrick Bearbrick!

This was part of the 25th series released in 2012 and was a designer collaboration. It features a yellow bear sprinkled with spots of Sebastian Masuda's famous Kawaii designs!

If you are into Decora make sure you check out what 6%DokiDoki has to offer! Sebastian Masuda is the Kawaii King! You can check out more items on their web store or in my post from
 April this year!

I'll be showing you what else Mr got me over the next week or two so keep your eye out for more Super Kawaii items!

Gaming Review - Letters to Santa

It's Christmas Eve and what better way of spending the evening can there be than playing a fun Kawaii game with family and friends?

You might remember the post about the game Love Letter by AEG, well, they have released a special Kawaii Christmas themed edition called Letters to Santa! ^^

The game comes in a cute little red velvet bag (just like Santa's famous sack of presents ^^):

The game includes a rulebook, a small deck of cards and some wooden cube tokens.

Instead of the princess, minister, knights and clowns of Love Letter, the game features Santa Claus, Mrs Claus, Elves, Reindeer, Gingerbreadmen, Snowmen, toys and even the creepy-Kawaii Krampus!

The gameplay is the same as Love Letter, so it's a perfect game to play with children and people who might not play many card games.  Rather than getting your love letter to a beautiful princess, the object of this version to get your letter to Santa, using the help of the various people at his North Pole workshop.

I totally recommend Letters to Santa for some Kawaii festive fun!

Hamasaki Ayumi - Zutto.../Last Minute/Walk

The J-pop queen, Hamasaki Ayumi, is releasing a triple Winter single today! The three songs are Zutto..., Last Minute and Walk and are released on a regular CD, a fan club limited edition and a music card that provides download codes.

You can check out the short version video for Zutto... here:

Merry Christmas Kawaiisters!

Chogokin x Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary Robot

In November we went to MCM Birmingham and one of my favourite items I picked up was the Chogokin x Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary Robot!

Chogokin is Japanese for 'super alloy' and is the name used for the famous Bandai company's range of high quality die cast figures.  To help celebrate Hello Kitty's 40th Anniversary, this super Kawaii Chogokin Robot was released:

As you can see, the box shows the Arigato Everyone! label used on the special 40th anniversary products.

The back of the box tells you more about some of the features of this Kawaii robot! ^^

The first thing you notice when you take the item out of the box is the weight - at over 1lb it's heavier than you might think! On the display base it stands over 5 inches tall so makes a great addition to any Hello Kitty collection.

The robot has various modes and features, but here it is with the Kawaii Kitty pilot that comes in the box as well:

As you can see, both robot and Kitty are wearing the classic blue dungarees, yellow shirt and red bow.

You can also display the robot sitting down:

But Chogokin Kitty can do lots more too! She comes with a special bow accessory that can be used to make her swim:

With flippers like that she can speed through the sea! ^^

The bow also becomes a special winged backpack to allow Kitty to fly!

Seller Review - Rosewine's Kawaii-eek Boutique

The weather is getting very rainy these days, and my old Hello Kitty umbrella was looking a little worse for wear so Mr surprised me with a super Kawaii new umbrella! The design features all the different types of Pokémon that Eevee can evolve into.

From the top, going clockwise, these are: Leafeon (grass type), Glaceon (ice type), Umbreon (dark type), Espeon (psychic type), Flareon (fire type), Jolteon (electric type), Vaporeon (water type) and most Kawaii of all Sylveon (fairy type).

This umbrella was designed and sold by Rosewine's Kawaii-eek Boutique on Etsy and is really lovely quality. The umbrella has a collapsible handle so can fit in your favourite Kawaii bag ^^

Rosewine has lots of super Kawaii items including badges, charms, bags and pouches inspired by Pokémon, Mario and Adventure Time amongst others.  When Mr bought the umbrella he ordered this super Kawaii lanyard for my pink Gameboy Colour ^^

This gorgeous lanyard features all the starter Pokémon from the first games through to X and Y, it even features Pikachu who was the star of Yellow Edition. I love that it includes some of my favourites like Turtwig and Chespin <3

Mr says that the items came in good time (from the USA to the UK) and were well packaged too.  We definitely recommend checking out Rosewine's Etsy shop!

Good Smile Company - Vocaloid Graphig figures

Since redecorating our living room the Mr and I have been looking for some new super Kawaii figures to display and a few weeks ago we came across these!

These are made by the Good Smile Company, which is a Japanese manufacturer of figma, nendoroids and scale figures. They make figures based on popular anime, manga and games - as well as Vocaloids!

One Vocaloid product range they make are the Graphig figures. These super Kawaii figures are designed to look like papercraft and are only available through 'lottery' promotions in Japan at certain stores. If you are lucky, you can win a Graphig of your favourite Vocaloid! The first lottery was held in Winter 2012 and lots of collections have been released since then.

The Graphigs come in a blind box, here's a couple we have:

As you can see, the packaging features the most famous Vocaloid - Hatsune Miku!

Each Graphig can be changed to have one of two faces, so you can change up the look of your collection from time to time ^^

Let's check out the Miku Graphigs we have in our collection. The first one features lots of bright colours, I think her hair looks awesome!

On her second face her eyes display pink hearts! Cute! <3

Here's Miku wearing a super kawaii pink sailor fuku ^^

Her second face shows her a little angry, but she's still so kawaii!

This Graphig features Miku in her famous Vocaloid outfit!

Her second face shows her sad, oh no cheer up Miku!

Here's Miku wearing a kawaii Suit and top hat!

Her second face shows her sleepy! Z_z

This one even came with a papercraft piano you can assemble as an accessory:

Of course, Miku needs some friends, so here are our Megurine Luka Graphigs.  I think the faces on this first one are super kawaii! ^^

Here's Luka in a nurse outfit.  This Graphig came with an accessory too, a kawaii handbag with hearts <3

Kagamine Rin and Len are so kawaii, here's our Kagamine Graphigs. First up is Kagamine Len:

Here's Len again, in a different outfit:

Here he is looking mischievous!

And here's Kagamine Rin in a matching outfit:

The bottom of each Graphig tells you about the design and the illustrator.

Here's a KAITO Graphig:

And here's a MEIKO Graphig:

I just love all of these figures! They're so cute and colourful and will look so adorable in our living room! If you like the look of these figures then keep an eye out on eBay as you can find them popping up there! So which ones your favourite? I think the Hatsune Miku ones are my favourites! Mr's favourites are the Luka figures! ^^ ah we need more! ><

Catch you later Kawaiisters!! ^^
